Ilona Zammit is a graduate of the University of Malta, is a Certified Public Accountant and is a Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
After graduating from University of Malta in 2005, Ilona Zammit joined one of the big 4 audit firms as an auditor advancing from associate to assistant manager. During this period, she gained exposure in preparation of financial statements, including consolidations and tax computation. In 2013 she decided to move her professional career from auditing to accounting services and she joined a local firm as an assistant accounting manager wherein she assisted various of its international clients in accounting, VAT and tax compliance matters including the application of Malta’s tax refund mechanism and recently fiscal consolidation.
In the last 10 years, she has gained exposure in various industry sectors, including yacht leasing, service industry and manufacturing.
She joined CCPS Malta in 2023 as an accounting manager providing a wide range of accounting, tax and VAT compliance services to the firm’s local and international clients.
